This is the second tale from Piney Flats. The first book takes place in the year 1946 way back up in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee. An old moonshiner and his two granddaughters fight against the Al Capone gang in their Southern headquarters, Johnson City. Since all of their cars and trucks are known to both the Al Capone gang and the revenuers they use a hopped up Indian motorcycle with a sidecar to deliver the moonshine. This second tale from Piney Flats continues on with the story the following year 1947. Their adventures and family happenings bring out how close knit the family really is when bad things occur.
